Distinction between bearing RS and 2RS

Many bearing manufacturers use general typewriting for 2RS (double-sided seal) and RS (single-sided seal) bearings,

just displays the words "model + RS" on the sealing ring，

which to some extent puzzles and misleads customers to make mistakes in the inquiry. 

Therefore, DYS Bearings makes a correct explanation to you by photos.

RS refers to the single-sided sealing structure. 

One side of the bearing is equipped with a sealing ring and the other side is open. 

In general, the inside of the bearing is free of grease, as shown in the above picture.

2RS refers to the double-sided sealing structure. 

The sealing ring is installed on both sides of the bearing, 

and the bearing is filled with grease, as shown in the above picture. 

For example, when you need 6204-2RS bearing, 

if you make an inquiry and place an order according to the "6204RS" shown in the sealing ring above, 

the price and goods you receive may be wrong, please make a correct distinction.
